ORDINANCE # 497

A ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF YACOLT, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A SIXTY PERCENT ANNEXATION PETITION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED AT THE 608 W CUSHMAN, AND 25119 NE JONES ST TAX PARCEL #229641000229859000 4.06 ACRES AND 229866000 .46 ACRES.

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Yacolt, Washington is in regular session this 18^TH day of June, 2012; and

WHEREAS, the members of the Town Council have had notice of the time, place, and purpose of said meeting;

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Town of Yacolt to annex the following: that portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 4 North, Range 3 East of the Willamette Meridian, in Clark County , Washington described as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section3; thence West 227 feet; thence South 330 feet; thence West 103 feet; thence South 594 feet, more or less, to the South line of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter, thence East 330 feet to the East l line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 3; thence North along the West line of said Section 3 of the Point of Beginning.

Also Beginning at a point 360 feet South of the Northeast Corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 4 North, Range 3 East of the Willamette Meridian, Clark County, Washington, thence West 150 feet; thence South 135 feet; thence East 150 feet; thence North 135 feet to the point of Beginning.

 Except There from a parcel of land conveyed by Quit Claim Deed to Benjamin Keller and Shirley Ann Keller and dated June 27, 1972.

WHEREAS, we the undersigned, on behalf of the owner; Dianna Foor Lewis of real property, within the area described which lies outside the corporate limits of the Town of Yacolt, Washington, but contiguous thereto, having an assessed value in excess of 10% if the total value of the said described area according to the assessed valuation for general taxation purposes, do hereby declare our intention to approve a petition for annexation to the Town of Yacolt, Washington.  It is acknowledged that this petition may consist of multiple documents filed independently.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT Ordained, by the Town Council of the Town of Yacolt, Washington that the Town of Yacolt precedes with annexing the above described property.
